Understanding your campaign reports

Campaign reports help you understand what happened after sending an email.

Open your report

Open Campaigns in your customer workspace and select the campaign you want to review. The available statistics depend on your tracking settings and delivery service.

What the numbers mean

  • Sent: Messages processed for sending. This does not guarantee arrival in the recipient’s inbox.

  • Opens: Recorded when the email’s tracking image loads. Image blocking can prevent an open from being recorded, while privacy tools and automated activity can generate opens.

  • Clicks: Recorded interactions with tracked links. Security scanners can also follow links, so a recorded click does not always represent a person.

  • Bounces: Messages reported as undeliverable. Review the reported reason to understand whether the problem is temporary or permanent.

  • Unsubscribes: Recipients who chose to stop receiving messages from the list.

  • Complaints: Spam reports received through supported feedback channels. Not every email provider reports these back.

Unique and total activity

Unique counts generally represent individual subscribers with recorded activity. Total counts include repeated activity, so they can be higher.

Use reports to improve your campaigns

Compare campaigns sent to similar audiences. Look at clicks, replies and other meaningful responses alongside opens.

If bounces or complaints rise unexpectedly, review your list and sending practices before sending again. Keep unsubscribed contacts excluded from future campaigns.
